LeadHunt private beta

Your next client is a person, not a job board.

LeadHunt finds the engineering managers, design system leads and CTOs who actually sign freelance contracts — then scores how likely each one is to need you. A prospecting CRM built for a team of one.

How it works

From a company name to a shortlist of people worth writing to.

Hunt with search dorks

For each target company, LeadHunt builds five focused site:linkedin.com/in queries around the roles that hire freelancers, and runs them through Google Programmable Search, Serper or Brave — your pick, your API key.

Qualify with Claude

Every result goes through a strict lead qualifier: homonyms and ex-employees are zeroed out, unknown titles are capped, and a CEO of a 2 000-person company is not called a "decision-maker". Quality over quantity, on purpose.

Work a one-person pipeline

Companies move through Prospect → Researched → Contacted → In Discussion. No assignees, no permissions, no sales-team rituals — the whole board is yours and fits on one screen.

Scoring

A relevance score you can argue with.

The actual rubric Claude applies to every contact found. It is deliberately strict.
80–100 Direct decision-maker: VP Engineering, Head of Design, CTO at a company small enough that the CTO still hires.
60–79 Strong influencer: engineering manager over frontend, design system lead, senior staff engineer.
40–59 Could champion you internally: frontend developer, product designer.
20–39 Tangential: backend, data, junior roles.
0–19 Not a lead: sales, marketing, HR, legal — and anyone who doesn't actually work there.

The product

Dense, dark, and done hiding behind mockups.

Where it stands

Honest state of the beta.

I'm Romain, a freelance front-end consultant (design systems & accessibility). I built LeadHunt because buying a 40-seat sales CRM to find my next two clients felt absurd. It filled my pipeline; now I'm opening it up.

In the beta today

  • Dork-powered LinkedIn search, 3 switchable providers
  • Claude-based contact qualification and scoring
  • Company pipeline, contacts, community sourcing
  • Nuxt 3 + PostgreSQL, fast and boring on purpose

Not there yet

  • Multi-user accounts — it is single-tenant right now
  • Email enrichment and outreach sequences
  • Pricing — free while in beta, honest pricing after
